MY 4TH CORE SERVICE HAS BEEN ADDED - EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY: COMMERCIAL!

Today, I have officially integrated my fourth core service to my Equestrian business.

Up until this day, I have had:

1) Equine Portraiture
2) Equine Shows & Events
3) Equine Videography.

Now, I have added #4) 𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗬: 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟.

We live in a visual world where the use of digital imagery has never been more prominent and so commonly used by millions of people around the world.

Word of mouth is still the number one form of marketing, but a good portion of word of mouth advertising now funnels through the online world! This is where the importance of having professional imagery to represent your brand comes into play. Dull or poor quality imagery will not help your business, it will hinder it.

A PREVIEW TO MY IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS

Here is a preview to how my in-person Equine Photography Workshops are going to work.

I will reveal the full details as I finalize them over the coming week. In the meantime, one very important aspect that I would like to mention is that all my workshops will be capped at 6 spots. Why? Because I am a believer in small group learning.

Over the years, I've learned and worked in many small groups and I've seen so many advantages that you just don't benefit from when in large groups. It's known that we all learn better when we are relaxed and small groups are perfect for this.

When in small groups, the learning is enhanced, building confidence is easier and it can often be less intimidating for learners to share their personalities while expressing their ideas.

This will allow me to work more closely with each and every person concentrating on their individual needs, track their progress more accurately and instantly give my feedback.

Right now I am building a list of venues and contacts who would love to have me host a workshop on their property and I am going to continuously build this list.

I am looking to host my first one on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵, I just need a venue. If you are interested for this date or any future ones, just let me know.

EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY: COMMERCIAL IS ON IT'S WAY!

Over a period of time, I've had inquiries about shooting commercial work. :)

For videos, my Equine Videography services already cover the commercial side for videos.

And I have more great news!

𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗬: 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 is just about ready and it's finally making it's way to my list of services next week! This will obviously cover the photographic side of Commercial Equine work.

I will also list 5 reasons as to why every business (big or small) should invest in commercially licensed professional photos.

MORE INFO ON MY NEW SERVICE COMING IN 2020!

I was originally going to do a video for this but I am so busy right now, that unfortunately I just couldn't find the time for it.

Anyhow, I would like to reveal a bit more on my new service coming in 2020, that's going to add a completely new dimension to my business. It's strictly an educational service that will consist of two parts.

1) An online component that will allow anyone, from anywhere around the world to learn from me, on their schedule, in their own time and at their convenience. Just like #2 below, this will cater to individual's and groups of any skill level.

2) I will be hosting and running workshops on an on-going basis at various locations across Alberta. Now, because I need to pull content from my workshops to get the ball rolling, workshops will begin later this year!

I've tutored individuals and couples before but I've never hosted my own classes, so in one way I will be putting on a new hat, while in many other ways I will be putting on familiar ones.

It inspires me knowing that I'm a positive influence on other people's learning and that is why I have such a deep passion for helping others go after their ambitions in life.

I will be sharing my knowledge and expertise that I have accumulated over the years throughout my career, to assist you in not only achieving your ultimate goal but providing the mentor ship to what is (in my opinion) one of the biggest reasons why many give up on their journey to learning the craft of photography and/or videography, lack thereof a quality mentor to look up to, count on and most importantly trust.

Then you factor in any of my future invites to other cities and countries for shows and events and you can see where I am going with this.

Soon I will explain why you should learn from me and why my "approach" alone differentiates me from other instructors.

As soon as I find the right videographer, I can get the ball rolling on this.

BEING ON THE COVER - ALBERTA BITS, SUMMER 2019

My apologies this is late - one of the pictures that I captured at last years 'Masters' at Spruce Meadows is the cover of this year's Summer edition of Alberta Equestrian Federation's official member magazine, Alberta Bits.

I took very few pictures when I was at the 'Masters' last year because I wasn't feeling all that well but it's exciting to see this one make a cover. They did a great job making this cover, very nice work! :)

MY SUBMITTED APPLICATION TO CBC

I guess you could say this is where a lot of the magic happens, this was my workload when working on my Millarville Races video from this past Canada Day (July 1st). How much work is involved in video editing? A lot.

This was my very first video that I filmed of an Equestrian event. I received such positive and encouraging feedback on this video that I will submitting it to 𝗖𝗕𝗖 in part of their 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 specifically for their "𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸" where filmmakers submit content that they would like to see aired on the 𝗖𝗕𝗖 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Thank you to Marie Bennett for the heads up on this one. :)

To best describe it, CBC is looking for video pieces that deliver high production value without requiring the traditional budget levels associated with linear television production.

They receive thousands of submissions yearly and I'm not sure how much of that is Equestrian related content but sometimes you just have to think outside of the box. If my video gets some eyes on it, it's a win regardless if my material gets accepted or not, but obviously I am in this to WIN IT!

I should hear in 6-8 weeks with an answer. Wish me luck!
