EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY: WORKSHOPS

If you are on this page then you obviously have an interest in photography. Whether you are just starting out and learning the ropes or you’re an already experienced photographer who is just looking to polish your skills - photographers are never done learning.

Regardless of your skill level, there is always something to learn from another photographer, because even the greatest photographers never stop mastering their skills.

Here are 5 REASONS why you should select me as your mentor.

1)
IT’S ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN!
We enjoy learning the most when it’s fun and fun is what I want to bring to every single one of my workshops. Because the fact is, if you aren’t happy doing what you are doing, the experience isn’t going to bring out the best in you.

2) I CATER TO ALL 4 TYPES OF LEARNERS (VISUAL, AUDITORY, READING/WRITING AND KINESTHETIC)
Each and every one of us fall under at least one of these four kinds of learning styles. When we learn in the specific way that our brains have been wired, we maximize our learning efficiency and we achieve the best results.

3) CREATE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE, LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE
Not only do my workshops have different levels (beginner to start, intermediate and advanced levels will come later) to cater to individuals of all skill levels, but you are able to dive right into a specific type of Equine Photography by selecting a workshop that is offering your desired theme.

Learning photography is a craft that can never be mastered. There is no finish line, no end point and even if it did, it would be a marathon not a sprint. Learning above or below your pace will greatly compromise your experience and success. We go at a pace that you are most comfortable with, so that you make the biggest strides in your learning in the least amount of time.

4) ONE-ON-ONE AND GROUP ENGAGEMENT
The social element is one aspect of workshops that can easily be overlooked by many. Engagement and having every participant involved with discussions is one of the most valuable ways to learn photography. Plus you get to spend time with others who have a shared interest with you.

5) HAS YOUR PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY FADED OVER TIME? I WILL RENEW IT.
It’s very common for individuals to lose interest in photography over the years. We get busy, unexpected events happen, our interests change. Start a new path with me and I will help you discover a new and never seen, never felt before level of motivation in becoming a more knowledgeable photographer.

BOOKING

In order to guarantee your spot for one of my workshops, a booking fee deposit of 100% of the total cost of the workshop is due at the time of booking. No exceptions.

Payments can be made via Email Money Transfer, PayPal, Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. No cheques.

Please send Email Money Transfers to payments@stevenquon.com and PayPal payments to hello@stevenquon.com

The purpose of my booking fee is to give me a sense of the number of serious inquiries that I receive and also to cover my time and mileage if I was to drive out to a location and have it be a no-show or a very last minute cancellation.

Still have questions? Please visit the "Bookings" section in my F.A.Q by clicking HERE.

TRAVEL

I live in the city of Calgary, Alberta and I’m available for travel to literally anywhere in the world (as long as my mileage is paid for). There are no additional mileage fees in my workshop prices.

CANCELLATION

I RESERVE THE RIGHT to cancel an appointment due to negative weather conditions that we believe would, 1) be a danger to the equipment; 2) be a danger to the photographer, including a danger in traveling either or both to and from the site of the location to be photographed; and/or 3) would result in photographs that would not be useful in adequately presenting the subject and location.

If you decide to CANCEL your scheduled booking date for whatever reason, please contact me directly and provide me with 7 DAYS NOTICE.
1) All cancellations made with either less than 7 days of notice or less than 7 days of direct communication, the booking fee deposit (or the amount you paid, whichever is greater) is 50% refundable. No exceptions.
2) All cancellations made with either less than 48 hours of notice or less than 48 hours of direct communication, the booking fee deposit (or the amount you paid, whichever is greater) is non-refundable. No exceptions.

You may RESCHEDULE your appointment within the 7 DAY window to another date that is more convenient for you. There is no cost to do this.
