First indoor show and this was a tough challenge - not in terms of the subject but rather the lighting, backdrops available, hot spots, dark tack, number of random items and reflections. A valuable experience moving forward.
I love Fjords!!! One of a kind, you can never tell them apart.
Shooting those black mini's were really tough especially with their white manes. They move so darn fast!

The time has come! I shot my very first Equine Show today and had a blast! I got into the groove quite quickly and it didn't take me long at all to get comfortable with the routine photographing 20+ riders. It was hot but incredibly windy so the dust and dirt was blowing all over the place. I learned a lot for next time! Except some adjustments being put in place and changes so I can quickly move forward.

Headed out to Sundre, AB early this morning to photography wild horses. It turned out great! A lovely herd of four or five (including two foals) spent quite a bit of time around me so I was able to get some great photos.
