BOOKING NOW FOR THE 2020 HORSE SEASON

Steven Quon January 21, 2020

I am booking right now for the 2020 Horse season. I always suggest booking me sooner rather than later for the following reasons:

1) If you want me on a specific date, then by booking well in advance, it gets it off of your things to do list. You can move onto other things.

2) You completely eliminate any chances of you forgetting to hire a photographer or videographer for your special occasion. Time flies and the last thing you want is to completely forget about it or run out of time and have no photographer or videographer on your special day.

3) It's never too early. I feel that many ask themselves why book me now and not a week before their date? Well unfortunately there is no guarantee that I will be available and as soon as winter is over and Spring arrives, my availability is going to shrink, as all the stuff that I have planned for the 2020 Horse season is going to start rolling out.

Just recently, I booked my first big assignment for the 2020 Horse season and it's both photo and video content for a mixed grain and cattle farming family who I sat down with, to go over exactly what they were wanting from me at their horse show in July. I told them that by getting in touch with me and booking me 7 months in advance was a wise decision on their part, because:

1) This gives me 7 months to plan and create a scope on how I'm going to capture a very big day for this family.

2) This gives their family 7 months to not only not have to worry about finding a photographer and videographer for their big day, but if any of them happen to come up with any ideas in the mean time, they can send them my way at anytime from now until our booking in July to pre-plan, adjust and build any specific things on their wish list.

More time to prepare is always better. Rushed time to schedule in dates is a recipe for disaster especially for video work.

So if you want to book me for a specific date that you have in mind, take advantage of the early opportunities while you can.
